The installation was simple. The camera came with basic mounting hardware, and the solar panel has its own bracket. I was able to mount the camera to an exterior wall in about 15 minutes. With the extension cable, the solar panel can be installed in a location where it gets enough direct sunlight. The SIM card is pre-activated, and plug in and play. The fully charged battery can support the 1fps AOV 24/7 in mixed weather conditions, sunny, cloudy and snowy days. Temperature varied from 0C to 20C during my test for about one month. This is the best part of the camera. It records idle at 1fps maximum purely on solar and batteries, which is a big differentiator compared to my previous low power cameras that only records when motion is detected. The daytime video is clear, and the color night vision is good enough for my backyard (~ 300 sqft.) monitoring. The audio is off by default, which is totally fine. The live video is what I will be using mostly.

Thank you for providing me with an early model for testing. I've ran my test for about 2 weeks now, mostly impressed by accuracy of alerts and recordings. Clicking on alerts can take a few seconds to load sometimes, but it may jsut be my signal. Clarity is super clear, and it zooms well, super impressed by that as well. Lastly, the fact that this thing lasts a long time, couldn't complain. It did take a bit of time to get used to the app, installation super simple, but now I'm very used to where everything is.

If you're looking for something that's reliable, this thing just doesn't miss.. Can cover motion all the way from our gate, which is about 20 meters away, can easily capure vehicles coming in and out which is something we've always wanted but couldn't get elsewhere. The night vision clarity is amazing, but the best part really is the detection alerts. My previous camera rarely missed events but when it did, it would frustrate me because what if it didn't record something important. It's been raining for the entire duration of my test (15days) and the battery is still at 90% or above at most time. Data does cost $15/m, we just opted for the annual package since it's cheaper and that's just the cost of 4G. I am going to get their 512GB card though because i noticed that with all this recording, their basic 32GB card is about to run out of memory very soon. I've been told the footage just auto-deletes oldest one which is great, but we want at least one month of footage recorded at all time. Very pleased with this product, better than the S4 pro, that's for sure.
